Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct onsite initial troubleshooting and basic corrective maintenance for equipment and systems.

• Carry out system resets, configuration checks, and minor component replacements.

• Assist in the physical installation, setup, removal, and commissioning of equipment at customer or operational locations.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, which includes inspections, cleaning, and basic adjustments.

• Deliver, replace, and return spare or defective parts while documenting their usage.

• Log hours worked, tasks completed, and service outcomes in service management tools.

• Adhere to service procedures, safety guidelines, and site-specific protocols.

• Elevate unresolved or complex issues to higher-level technical support teams.

• Provide status updates and engage in scheduled service coordination meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Must be a local candidate to the specified geographic area.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.

• Minimum age of 19 years.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance roles; professional, contract, or academic experience is acceptable.

• Basic understanding of relevant mechanical, electrical, or IT systems.

• Capability to follow written procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.

• Ability to accurately track and report hours worked in an hourly setting.

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record and the ability to travel to field sites.

• Must be able to complete background checks, safety training, and any required certifications, as necessary.
