Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and promptly.

• Service electromechanical devices including ATMs and self-checkout systems within a designated territory.

• Conduct maintenance repairs and system overhauls.

• Oversee network faults, traffic management, configuration, security, and remote system access.

• Organize and prioritize customer issues, addressing problems proactively.

• Engage with customers in a friendly, helpful, and approachable manner.

• Serve as the first line of response and ambassador for the NCR Atleos brand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate to the specific geographic area.

• Must be authorized to work in the US.

• Minimum age of 19 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets NCR Atleos fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic knowledge, and familiarity with operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to travel for extended periods and drive several hours daily.

• Availability for rotating shifts and weekends.

• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Capability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate varying sizes of objects.

• Preferred: familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• Preferred: A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification.

• Preferred: one or more years of relevant experience.
