This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Install, maintain, and conduct complex on-site repairs of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Offer technical engineering guidance and support to junior field service representatives.
• Address urgent and challenging equipment repair requests.
• Execute equipment installation and maintenance at client locations.
• Operate in the field, from a home office, or at customer sites to provide technical assistance.
• Replace mechanical and electrical parts, such as motors, starters, switches, solenoids, pumps, refrigeration valves, VFDs, and compressors.
• React promptly to unexpected breakdowns.
• Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and construction job layouts.
• Complete reports from the field.
• Travel frequently to support international clients.
• Lead individuals or teams to achieve objectives.
• Educate peers and customers on technical issues.
• Act as a liaison among teams, including management-level groups.
• Completion of a formal technical program and 5–7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent background.
• A clean driving record.
• Experience with 3-phase motor control systems.
• Proficiency in welding stainless steel and aluminum.
• Pressure vessel certification is advantageous.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical control systems effectively.
• Skill in safely replacing mechanical and electrical components.
• Capability to respond urgently to unplanned breakdowns.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and construction job layouts.
• Familiar with safe work practices.
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
• Comfortable in a role requiring frequent travel.
• Excellent customer communication skills and the ability to build customer trust.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Competent in using computers and smartphones, including filing field reports.
• Willingness and ability to travel to support international clients.
• Must possess a valid travel passport or the ability to acquire one post-employment.
• Experience in managing individuals or teams.
• Ability to impart knowledge and train peers and/or customers.
• Capable of liaising between teams, including management-level groups.
• Must pass a drug screening and background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
