This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration/verification of instrumentation in accordance with established company standard work.
• Foster a positive customer experience and act as the primary on-site contact for technical and service-related inquiries.
• Operate in both municipal and industrial environments, including drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, and food and beverage processing facilities.
• Service instruments in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division 2) as applicable.
• Provide timely and accurate service reports that impact billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failures.
• Adhere to safe work practices in line with company policy.
• Perform administrative tasks that support service visits.
• Travel daily to customer locations within the Tampa-area territory.
• Report directly to the Field Service Manager.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• At least 2 years of field service experience and/or customer-facing experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• A clean driving record is essential.
• The ability to rent vehicles and/or book hotel accommodations under applicable state laws is required.
• Mechanical aptitude is necessary.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair is essential.
• An Associate’s or technical degree is preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience with MS Office products is required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as ServiceMax and/or Salesforce is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must be able to travel daily to customer sites, typically within a 2-hour radius.
• Availability for overnight travel is required, with 65–75% of weekly travel involving overnight stays.
• Must be willing to travel to other states within the region for trips lasting up to one week.
