This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Install, configure, maintain, inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot fuel handling and outage-critical crane equipment at customer locations around the globe.
• Thoroughly review operational and maintenance procedures, as well as technical drawings.
• Support engineering and training efforts by engaging in activities such as equipment modifications, setup and testing, mock-up preparation, process testing, and validating equipment and processes.
• Meticulously document performance issues encountered during field implementation and ensure that corrective actions are completed before the next scheduled use.
• Engage in training programs to obtain and maintain certifications, while staying updated with the latest technology and procedures.
• Execute all assigned tasks with general supervision, ensuring a high standard of quality within established procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain a keen attention to detail and document all quality-related issues.
• Foster a "Safety First" mindset as a fundamental part of all activities.
• Uphold good housekeeping practices in work areas.
• Retain “Unescorted Access” status at nuclear power plant sites.
• Cultivate, practice, and promote team-building skills with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers, and other departments.
• Exhibit strong customer sensitivity and service skills.
• Focus on innovative problem-solving strategies.
• Provide daily or as needed updates to the service supervisor regarding the status of field work, including progress, changes, issues, and errors.
• High school diploma or equivalent, along with a 2-year post-secondary degree/certificate or equivalent experience.
• Specialized knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, PLC, or mechanical components.
• 1-2 years of related experience demonstrating mechanical, electrical, and PLC aptitude and skills.
• Experience in the nuclear industry is advantageous.
• Must have the ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess full range of motion, including the ability to reach, climb, kneel, squat, grasp, bend forwards and backwards, sit, and stand for a minimum of 4 hours a day.
• Must be capable of passing a Westinghouse physical examination, which includes a spirometer for respirator usage ability.
