Field Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration/verification of instrumentation following established company standard procedures.

• Foster a positive customer experience while acting as the on-site contact for any technical and service-related inquiries.

• Operate in a diverse range of municipal and industrial environments, including but not limited to drinking water and wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, and food and beverage processing facilities.

• Provide timely and accurate service reports that impact billing, inventory management, instrument history, and instrument malfunctions.

• Adhere to safe work practices in accordance with company policies.

• Perform administrative tasks to support service visits.

• Travel daily to customer locations. This position will be primarily based in the Central Valley, CA area and will serve clients throughout the region. Company-sponsored travel, accommodations, and meals will be provided for overnight stays.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is required; an Associate's or technical degree is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

• Mechanical aptitude is essential - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repairs is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of field service experience or customer-facing roles is preferred.

• A valid driver's license, a clean driving history, and the ability to rent a vehicle and/or hotel rooms in compliance with state regulations are required.
