Field Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary representative of the NCR Atleos brand on-site at customer locations.

• Solve basic module-level problems (FRU), effectively manage and organize time, and escalate issues as necessary.

• Utilize on-the-job training to address task-related challenges in straightforward scenarios through manual skills.

• Ensure consistent and clear communication via the service app to uphold customer satisfaction.

• Adhere to safety and security protocols when working on ATMs.

• Complete the required NCR Atleos training and obtain necessary certifications.

• Diagnose ATM issues using error logs, service-app data, and a company-provided mobile phone.

• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs on ATMs both indoors and outdoors.

• Report work updates, details, and call closure information accurately and promptly.

• Manage parts inventory and maintain related records.

• Daily report of hours worked and miles traveled.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must live within the specified geographic area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Authorization to work in the US is necessary.

• A valid driver’s license and a driving record that satisfies company standards are required.

• Reliable transportation for work-related activities is mandatory.

• Proficiency in operating an Android mobile phone is essential.

• Willingness to travel for several hours during workdays, even in adverse weather conditions.

• Capability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and repeatedly grasp and manipulate objects.

• Proof of minimum insurance coverage: $100,000 bodily injury liability per person, $300,000 per accident, and $100,000 property damage liability per accident.

• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, overtime, and flex shifts.

• Ability to work safely outdoors in all seasons and potential exposure to environmental elements.

• High level of personal integrity with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Basic knowledge and skills in electrical and mechanical aptitude.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick aptitude for learning new skills while working under pressure.

• An Associate degree is preferred.

• Previous experience with NCR or similar equipment is preferred.
