Field Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Travel nationwide to customer sites and assist in organizing and optimizing maintenance shops.

• Represent Imperial Supplies at various customer locations.

• Collaborate with the Sales team to establish organized and efficient maintenance shops.

• Set up and arrange inventory systems, shelving, and steel bin configurations.

• Identify, label, stock, and streamline maintenance products to enhance workflow.

• Provide training to customers on ordering technology, including scanners, mobile applications, and web tools.

• Cultivate strong customer relationships while traveling from Monday to Friday.

• Assist customers in developing smarter, safer, and more efficient maintenance operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior Field Service experience is not mandatory; training will be offered.

• Willing to engage in frequent overnight travel, up to 90% during scheduled workweeks.

• Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on tasks.

• Customer-oriented with excellent communication skills.

• Self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working autonomously.

• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds and working in active shop environments.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Must be willing and able to travel from Monday to Friday to customer locations across the United States.
