This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Diagnose, repair, and conduct preventative maintenance on a substantial fleet of earthmoving machinery.
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues on excavators, loaders, trenchers, forklifts, and various other equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while executing work tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet machinery.
• Execute mechanical repairs following the inspection and analysis of breakdowns.
• Document complete repair details on work orders, including equipment model, serial number, and hour meter reading.
• Lubricate moving components and operate repaired machinery to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Uphold a professional image, cleanliness, and presentation of the service truck.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record and comply with CDL-related rules and regulations.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.
• Travel consistently to project sites across multiple states, remaining on assignments for extended durations.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Technical School Certificate and 2 years of relevant work experience or 5 years of related work experience.
• Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Proven track record of safe and reliable work practices.
• Capability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functionalities.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential.
• Capability to perform tasks for extended periods, including repetitive lifting, standing, kneeling, sitting, grasping, twisting, and climbing stairs/ladders.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record and adhere to CDL-related regulations.
• Per Diem at the GSA Rate – Minimum paid $178/day.
