Field Service Technician (Electrical) – Packaging Machines, Field Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Conducting electrical commissioning for machines and systems, along with executing modifications and retrofits at customer locations both domestically and internationally.

• Installing machines and performing inspections/testing on control cabinets.

• Providing support during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), both internally and at client sites.

• Analyzing and diagnosing electrical faults, including troubleshooting controls/PLCs, sensors, and actuators.

• Carrying out maintenance and service tasks, alongside implementing improvement measures (such as enhancing stability or performance).

• Compiling service reports and documenting assignments.

• Training and instructing clients' operating and maintenance personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an electrician, electronics technician, or mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of relevant professional experience in machine or plant engineering is preferred.

• Proficient understanding of circuit diagrams (EPLAN P8), drive technology, and sensor technology.

• Ability to work independently with a structured, reliable, and service-oriented approach.

• Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities.

• Eagerness to learn, with potential for development into a site manager or foreman role.

• Willingness to travel (at least 50%; company car provided, which may also be used for personal purposes).

• Excellent command of the German language and basic knowledge of English.

• Valid driver's license class B.
