Field Service Technician, Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs.

• Utilizes experience and judgment to strategize and achieve objectives.

• Should possess knowledge of various extruder/dryer processes and procedures related to electrical and PLC issues.

• Executes a range of complex tasks including leading and guiding operators and other technicians.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical background through education or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency with Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLC systems.

• Familiarity with ControlLogic, RSVIEW3, Factory Talk SE & ME.

• Experience in servicing, maintaining, or commissioning intricate machinery or capital equipment.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach.

• Exceptional communication skills and the capacity to cultivate strong customer relationships.

• A proactive and independent attitude, with the capability to collaborate within a team.

• A valid driver’s license and passport, with a willingness to travel globally (approximately 50%).

• Availability to work weekends as necessary.
