• Install, configure, and maintain critical fuel handling and outage crane equipment at customer locations globally.
• Thoroughly review operational and maintenance procedures, as well as equipment drawings.
• Assist engineering and training by engaging in activities such as modifying equipment, setting up and testing machinery, preparing mock-ups, conducting process tests, and qualifying equipment and processes.
• Record equipment performance issues during field deployment and ensure that corrective actions are completed prior to the next scheduled use.
• Participate in training programs to obtain and maintain certifications and stay updated with the latest technology and procedures.
• Execute all assigned tasks with the necessary support, maintaining a high level of quality and adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
• Log all quality-related issues.
• Maintain a "Safety First" mindset as a crucial aspect of all activities.
• Uphold good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
• Retain "Unescorted Access" status at nuclear power plant sites.
• Foster, practice, and advocate team-building skills with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers, and other departments.
• Exhibit strong customer sensitivity.
• Report daily or as needed to the service supervisor regarding the status of field work progress, any changes, issues, and mistakes.
• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification, along with a post-high school degree/certificate or equivalent experience of 2 years.
• Specialized knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, programmable logic controller, or mechanical components.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience demonstrating mechanical, electrical, and programmable logic controller knowledge and skills effectively.
• Experience in the nuclear industry is advantageous.
• Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 50 pounds is required.
• The individual must possess a full range of motion, including the ability to reach, climb, kneel, squat, grasp, bend forwards and backwards, sit, and stand for up to 4 hours a day.
