This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Serves as a representative of the Baxter brand within clinical and hospital environments.
• Oversees a designated territory and travels to conduct installation, repairs, preventive maintenance, training, and various services on an assortment of electro-mechanical medical devices.
• Executes repairs, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and installations on electro-mechanical medical equipment while adhering to established service level agreements (SLAs), quality, and procedural standards.
• Investigates equipment malfunctions to identify root causes and implements corrective actions.
• Ensures effective territory management by organizing service calls, preventive maintenance, and other service requirements within SLAs and planning travel accordingly.
• Verifies that testing equipment is functioning correctly and calibrated within set intervals.
• Maintains detailed records of all performance and maintenance activities related to equipment.
• Plans and orders necessary parts for service and preventive maintenance, and keeps accurate system inventory records.
• Offers training and guidance to customer personnel on operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
• Fosters customer goodwill through timely and effective communication regarding all services provided, on-site arrival times, and promptly reports any issues.
• Exhibits a positive attitude towards the company, its products, employees, and customers, while maintaining a professional business appearance.
• Engages in departmental meetings and training sessions.
• May be involved in installation or planning and execution of field actions.
• Complies with all environmental, health and safety standard operating procedures (SOPs), equipment usage, policies, and procedures, including any specific departmental guidelines.
• Capable of exercising independent judgment to draw accurate conclusions and resolve equipment-related issues based on available data.
• Basic mathematical competencies in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions are essential.
• Ability to work autonomously to effectively manage the assigned territory.
• Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to maintain a high level of professional and courteous interaction with peers, as well as internal and external customers.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to operate in healthcare environments such as hospitals and clinics while adhering to customer personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations.
• Physical capabilities to fulfill job requirements, including kneeling, standing for extended periods, squatting, bending, lifting, pulling, and twisting.
• Regularly able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally able to lift and/or move over 50 pounds utilizing lifting aids, technology, or appropriate assistance.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
