This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver technical support and services to customers concerning digital cinema equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on cinema projection systems, digital signage, audio systems, servers, and power supplies.
• Provide both demand and emergency services, formulating and implementing support strategies.
• Assess electronic assemblies, components, and parts using meters, oscilloscopes, and automated/computerized testing equipment.
• Inspect equipment and assemblies for defects and replace any faulty components.
• Repair equipment and conduct field tests.
• Address firmware and software issues.
• Manage inquiries related to customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and product conditions upon delivery.
• Document and analyze production quality information while updating relevant personnel in production quality and sales departments about complaints and claims.
• Install electronic or digital equipment and verify the functionality of installations.
• Maintain daily records in Field Point, detailing work descriptions, expenses, hours worked, labor, and travel.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and complete other assigned tasks.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or an equivalent qualification from a two-year college or technical school, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electronics in the Pro-Av market.
• Understanding of computer and networking principles and architecture.
• Preferred experience with digital cinema equipment.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Exceptional customer service skills are mandatory.
• A valid, state-issued driver's license is required.
• Capability to stand, sit, squat, and bend for extended periods.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical abilities.
• A self-motivated individual who can identify and address issues as they arise.
• Capacity to effectively engage with a diverse range of personnel within the organization.
• Willingness to travel both in and out of the market up to 70–80% of the time.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and be on-call.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States through participation in E-Verify.
