This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee projects and coordinate field operations
• Install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair low-, medium-, and high-voltage power systems and power generation equipment at client locations
• Fix breakers, shutdown switches, wiring harnesses, alternators, battery systems, and control panels
• Perform root cause analysis on complex electrical failures
• Work with arc-resistant systems and conduct field surveys
• Act as the on-site technical authority and inform clients on best maintenance practices
• Engage with customers regarding issues, solutions, and timelines
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Sales on service estimates and parts suggestions
• Guide junior technicians
• Participate in initiatives for continuous improvement
• Provide emergency assistance during critical system outages as part of a rotating on-call schedule
• Execute other tasks as assigned
• Over 4 years of experience working with generators, governors, regulators, switchgear, or similar power equipment
• TWIC Card
• Industry experience in power generation, utilities, oil & gas, marine, or energy sectors
• Strong hands-on expertise with electrical control systems
• Skilled in using multimeters, hand tools, wiring equipment, and soldering
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record necessary for travel
• Excellent customer interaction and reporting capabilities
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Willingness to travel 90% within the US and occasionally internationally
• Ability to work over 40 hours, including weekends or holidays, when necessary
• Capacity to navigate a manufacturing facility, including walking, standing, and climbing stairs
• Capability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in compliance with OSHA standards
• Adequate vision and hearing to navigate safely and communicate effectively
• Preferred: Technical diploma in Industrial Electrical, Maintenance, or a related field
• Preferred: EGSA Certification
• Preferred: Experience in PLC programming with Allen-Bradley, Quantum, or Premium
• Preferred: Relay programming experience with Basler, Multilin, Sepam, or Woodward
• Preferred: Knowledge of Modbus, Ethernet, and Fiber Optic communication protocols
• Preferred: Familiarity with GE, Siemens, or Woodward devices
