Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Improve customer satisfaction by delivering outstanding customer service.

• Responsible for the installation of components and low voltage wiring in customer ceilings, usually within cleanroom settings.

• Installation of localized and in-tool ionization systems.

• Conduct maintenance on various types of static control systems.

• Coordinate visits and installations directly with customers.

• Adhere to the work instructions provided by the service manager or senior field technician on projects, occasionally completing smaller jobs during individual trips.

• Ensure timely and precise documentation and reporting of all service-related activities.

• Generate various reports for customers.

• Practice safe working methods and procedures consistently.

• May need to work weekends and/or evenings based on the company's requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Experience with hand tools, demonstrating good hand dexterity.

• Capability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical information related to mechanics and electronics, including schematic and electrical diagrams.

• Basic understanding of low voltage electrical systems.

• Strong focus on quality.

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

• Detail-oriented approach.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle challenging, high-pressure customer situations.

• Effective time management, prioritization, and follow-up abilities.

• Capacity to work in stressful situations and environments.

• Exceptional administrative and organizational skills.

• A sense of urgency, demonstrating the drive and motivation to take action and prioritize daily tasks; working strategically to ensure all customers are attended to.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
