Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Visit customer locations to conduct preventive maintenance and provide emergency services.

• Carry out the installation, commissioning, and training for new machines.

• Diagnose mechanical problems and maintain effective communication with customers.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service, executing tasks promptly, and following up with clients.

• Represent the company in a professional, courteous, and business-like manner to enhance its reputation in the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma.

• At least 5 years of experience working with mechanical equipment.

• Significant travel required, up to 75%.

• Ability to work up to 12 hours when necessary.

• Willingness to work on weekends occasionally.

• Familiarity with hand tools and mechanical techniques.

• Proficient in computer usage.

• Some skills in technical writing are required.

• Capability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Must be able to operate effectively in an unsupervised environment.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to explain technically complex topics to non-technical individuals.

• Strong organizational skills, especially on site, are essential.

• Experience in wastewater, renewable energy, dairies, or breweries is preferred.
