This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Serves as the primary contact for customer support, ensuring the seamless operation of our environmental test chambers.
• Executes calibration services for all equipment manufactured by ENA and ESPEC Corp, while complying with the ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System and maintaining the precision of customer data.
• Provides on-site training for customers regarding the operation, startup, and upkeep of newly installed equipment.
• Repairs and adjusts refrigeration systems, as well as electrical and control systems.
• Configures and calibrates controllers and recorders, showcasing expertise in their operation and application.
• Evacuates refrigeration systems as necessary.
• Charges or recharges refrigeration systems and accurately completes refrigerant usage documentation.
• Interprets refrigeration and electrical schematics and drawings.
• Oversees and coordinates on-site activities when contractors are involved in large installation projects.
• Returns parts from the field as needed.
• Engages in ongoing safety training.
• Regular physical presence is mandatory.
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of college or trade school education is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the refrigeration industry is preferred.
• Prior experience in brazing, soldering, and welding both ferrous and non-ferrous materials is required.
• Experience in refrigerant charging and recovery is necessary.
• A strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Basic computer and phone skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
• Knowledge of electrical systems at high, low, and control voltage levels is desired.
• Previous experience in customer service is preferred.
