This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Install, troubleshoot, and offer technical maintenance for product and component hardware and software, primarily at customer locations.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance within a designated area.
• Assess products for proper functionality and address or escalate issues following established protocols.
• Arrange services, complete necessary documentation, and collaborate with customers to guarantee service satisfaction and comprehension of the product.
• Diagnose hardware and software failures utilizing diagnostic tools.
• Execute component-level hardware repairs and clean and adjust mechanical parts.
• Configure and install relevant software.
• Install, relocate, add, modify, and remove hardware and software products.
• Educate and train customers on the usage of installed hardware and software.
• Engage in hardware and software training, KPI initiatives, and special projects.
• Education or equivalent work experience is necessary.
• A minimum of 1–2 years of pertinent experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Services.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets DN's fleet requirements.
• Proficiency with PCs and familiarity with relevant tools and methods.
• Preferred product knowledge of the relevant industry and basic ITIL skills.
• Willingness to attend multiple paid training sessions in Canton, Ohio for 1–2 weeks.
• Capacity to lift and transport heavy items, stand for most of the day, climb, bend, and stoop while handling equipment.
• Acceptance of exposure to external elements.
• Flexibility for shifts, including an on-call rotation during evenings and weekends.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to organize and manage truck stock parts and tools.
• A sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional demeanor, and capability to work within a team setting.
• Ability to pass MVR, background checks, and drug tests as required.
• Preferred experience as a Firstline Service Technician.
• Vocational/Trade School education preferred.
• Paid training in Canton, Ohio for 1–2 weeks.
• Numerous training opportunities available.
• Training provided through on-the-job, classroom, and web-based formats.
