This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Fulfill all service requests within the designated area.
• Execute field repairs, glass replacements, and operational adjustments.
• Carry out evaluations and inspections in the field.
• Record the work completed for each service call.
• Review daily schedules with the Service Scheduler to ensure optimal routing.
• Confirm appointments with customers prior to arrival.
• Provide insights on completed and pending service requests.
• Document the requirements for any follow-up appointments.
• Offer technical feedback regarding product performance and issues.
• Record operational and design flaws identified in the field.
• Suggest modifications to products as needed.
• Operate the company vehicle in a courteous and safe manner.
• Manage the parts inventory within the assigned service vehicle.
• Monitor and replenish parts and materials as necessary.
• Communicate with dealers regarding the status of service issues and coordinate with Insulate and end users.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in general construction or building material installation is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in fenestration manufacturing or installation is preferred.
• Knowledge of various window types and techniques for their repair or replacement.
• Familiarity with tools such as glass cutters, drills, sealants, pry bars, caulk guns, and power tools.
• Understanding of window materials, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and glass types.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in computer use and CRM systems is required.
• Ability to climb ladders and regularly lift up to 35 pounds.
• Physical fitness, comfort with heights, and excellent hand-eye coordination are necessary.
• Awareness of safety protocols for handling glass, working at heights, and using protective equipment.
• Understanding of building codes and regulations related to window installation and repairs.
• Capability to operate a company vehicle safely and in accordance with local laws.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
