Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Install, convert, repair, and remove ATMs, Air/Vac equipment, and various Cash Depot products.

• Conduct scheduled and requested cash replenishment and coin removal.

• Collaborate with the territory dispatcher to fulfill dispatch requests.

• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors or Cash Depot personnel.

• Communicate inventory and support requests accurately and without delay.

• Accurately and promptly complete administrative paperwork.

• Uphold efficiency, safety, first-time-fix-rate, and other departmental metrics.

• Assist fellow technicians and provide ride-along training as necessary.

• Adhere to all security protocols and policies.

• Maintain a professional appearance for both personal and vehicle standards, as well as required inventory.

• Attend training sessions and sustain technical competencies for ATMs and Air Products.

• Identify and propose improvements for efficiency.

• Work independently with minimal supervision on a flexible schedule, including on-call duties.

• Operate a service vehicle and work at client locations, estimated at 50% of the shift.

• Utilize lifting equipment, hand tools, an iPad, and a cell phone.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to be insured through the Company’s risk insurer.

• Capability to drive a vehicle for over 50% of the shift.

• Ability to work safely while lifting and performing job-related tasks.

• Experience in troubleshooting or electromechanical tasks.

• Ability to adhere to the expectations outlined in the Field Service Handbook.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking ability, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Accuracy, thoroughness, and adaptability to changes in the workplace or duties.

• Ability to lift and manage equipment and materials, including items weighing up to 310 lbs. with lifting equipment and ATMs weighing between 280–875 lbs. with lifting equipment.

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.

• Proficiency in speaking, hearing, writing, and/or typing for customer communications and reports.

• Normal near, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, as well as a typical sense of sound.
