This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Diagnose, repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline distribution systems.
• Install, calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, equipment, along with associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Provide support for HMI and PLC controls during the installation of new equipment, and offer ongoing service and support for the installed equipment base.
• Identify and rectify equipment malfunctions, collaborating with manufacturers and field representatives as needed.
• Complete and submit field reports detailing all time and work performed on-site.
• Deliver diagnostic analysis, repair, and preventative maintenance services to customers.
• Calibrate, monitor, repair, and maintain inverters, controllers, relays, and industrial sensors.
• Install, inspect, and replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, and other electrical components.
• Adhere to preventive maintenance programs and maintain records of repairs and upgrades.
• Conduct on-site system audits and evaluations.
• Follow safety protocols and training practices diligently.
• Respond promptly to work order requests.
• Travel regularly, up to 80% of the time.
• Provide technical support and communication through onsite visits, phone calls, and electronic means.
• Foster relationships with the sales team, distributor network, and end users.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in machinery or related fields.
• Demonstrated field service experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Basic to intermediate electrical skills (ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and replace parts).
• Basic to intermediate programming skills (familiarity with Ladder Logic, PLC, HMI Design and Programming, and C++ logic changes).
• Proven experience and understanding of diagnosing and programming Allen Bradley and PLC operations.
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure with tight deadlines and adapt to changing work schedules.
• Ability to manage a physical workload.
