Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide an outstanding customer experience while servicing our products within customers' homes.

• Diagnose and repair all major appliances, televisions, and air conditioning units, while managing inventory and handling administrative responsibilities.

• Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance and repairs on LG's equipment.

• Effectively utilize all safety equipment (PPE), vehicles, and diagnostic tools supplied by LG.

• Perform technical diagnostics and execute specialized repairs on various electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their extent, document findings, and make decisions regarding repairs or part replacements.

• Promptly and accurately complete paperwork and conduct data entry after finishing each job.

• Pre-screen service calls for the following day by gathering necessary information.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics related to customer satisfaction, first-time fixes, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentage.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical role, preferably in Field Service.

• Proficiency in repairing major appliances, including refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, and cleaning products.

• Familiarity with the use of tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Capability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product or system issues.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing.

• Ability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Ability to meet the physical demands typically associated with field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
