This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver remote and on-site technical assistance for automated dispensing systems.
• Provide support to DHA and DoD facilities.
• Address, assess, prioritize, and resolve work orders in accordance with service-level expectations.
• Diagnose and repair proprietary hardware and software components, owning each case fully.
• Independently troubleshoot complex issues and escalate to Senior or Lead Field Service Engineers as necessary.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, and calibrations.
• Manage inventory while following company policies.
• Cultivate professional communication and relationships with customers.
• Accurately complete service documentation, including expense reports and time tracking.
• Ensure compliance with MDR and service protocols.
• Operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Travel daily to customer sites within the assigned Roanoke, VA region.
• Provide on-call support as territory requirements change.
• 1–3 years of combined experience in hardware, software, and IT support.
• Eligibility to gain access to Federal Government facilities, including the Department of Defense, Bureau of Prisons, Veterans Affairs Hospitals, Indian Health Services Facilities, and other locations that mandate background checks and identification badges.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and problem-solving.
• Experience in medical or electromechanical device repair is mandatory.
• An associate degree in a relevant field or over 3 years of Field Service or Technical Support experience.
• Preferred experience in 24×7 on-call service.
• CompTIA A+ Certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude to disassemble and reassemble intricate systems.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, networking, and diagnostic tools.
• Capability to operate powered and manual hand tools.
• Ability to lift 85 lbs frequently and 115 lbs occasionally, including overhead lifts.
• Physical capability to climb, kneel, crawl, reach, grasp, stand, and walk for extended durations.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company driving criteria.
• Daily car travel is required, with occasional air travel and overnight stays.
• Support for government accounts necessitating eligibility for a CAC (Common Access Card).
