Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Assist customers with Amada Press Brakes and various fabricating machines

• Install and maintain equipment at customer locations

• Deliver training on operations, applications, software, part programming, networking, and automation

• Diagnose and fix mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, electrical, control-system, and network problems

• Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense documentation

• Oversee the entire equipment installation process at client sites

• Utilize Amada applications software for line management and part programming

• Travel frequently within designated territories

• Report directly to the Regional Service Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks

• Capable of accurately interpreting layout drawings and blueprints

• Proficient in English communication

• Strong customer service skills and commitment to follow-through

• Experience with operations, applications, software, and part programming

• Competent in using Amada applications software for line management and part programming

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis

• Skilled in analyzing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems

• Proficient with hand tools, a Volt/Ohm meter, and an oscilloscope

• Familiar with computers and Windows operating system

• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams

• Regular travel within assigned territories, with occasional overnight trips

• A four-year degree in Electronics or a minimum of a two-year degree with relevant work experience is preferred
