This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Install, assemble, service, and repair Aerzen products.
• Execute equipment startups, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance at client locations.
• Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain pneumatic, analog, and digital instrumentation.
• Set up and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections.
• Analyze and resolve process application issues and communication challenges.
• Manage TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications.
• Disassemble machines to assess damage, evaluate failures, diagnose issues, and identify root causes.
• Provide machine-based recommendations and utilize standard rebuild kits.
• Read and interpret equipment diagrams, checklists, engineering drawings, and process documentation.
• Communicate job requirements, recommendations, service options, concerns, and status updates effectively to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering on plant design, modifications, and hazard analyses.
• Plan and schedule travel using the Concur booking tool.
• Complete service reports, expense reports, repair reports, and other necessary documentation.
• Gather data and create commissioning graphs utilizing company software.
• Conduct on-site customer training for Aerzen products.
• Perform tasks in accordance with quality and safety standards while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Participate in inventory counts, shop organization, cleanup, and other assigned departmental responsibilities.
• Associate’s Degree (2 years of education) in electronics technology or equivalent experience.
• More than 4 years of Field Service and Repair experience in rotating equipment.
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
• Capability to work with TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLC is preferred.
• Familiarity with RS Logix 5000 is preferred.
• Desired experience in PLC or similar Ladder-Logic programming.
• Ability to interpret process flow, control wiring, piping, and instrumentation diagrams.
• Welding skills, including brazing, cutting, welding, and plasma, are a plus.
• Excellent skills in planning, prioritization, organization, and execution.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze significant amounts of data.
• Proficient analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
• Strong time management skills.
• Robust customer focus, leadership, and change management skills.
• High integrity and compliance mindset.
• Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
• Monday–Friday schedule with weekends spent at home.
• Must successfully pass a thorough background check.
• Must pass a drug test prior to commencing work.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
