This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Carry out tasks to achieve designated goals.
• Responsibilities include the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of essential power and electrical distribution systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform service work according to customer requests and expectations.
• Collaborate on-site with clients to identify areas for operational enhancement and resolve issues.
• Perform field service duties, including diagnosing technical problems and carrying out certified on-site troubleshooting.
• Take charge of the hands-on execution of projects, which encompasses startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, engineering, design, and repair of Power Delivery/Distribution equipment.
• Compile material lists for service tasks, ensuring all materials, components, and equipment comply with quality standards and are readily available.
• Conduct installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, extensions, upgrades, retrofits, end-of-life services, and replacements.
• Establish and sustain positive customer relationships to boost satisfaction.
• Actively identify potential equipment failures and suggest corrective measures.
• Propose product and quality enhancements.
• Offer management recommendations for improving operations and customer service.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold safe work and environmental practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 1 year of experience in servicing critical power equipment OR an Associate's Degree in electrical technology with 3+ years of experience in servicing critical power equipment OR a High School Diploma/GED and equivalent work and/or military experience (5+ years) in servicing critical power equipment.
• Proficient in interacting and communicating (both written and verbal) information to various levels within the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
• Moderate ability to manage projects using MS Project or Excel.
• Advanced capability to draft test plans and reports that detail test outcomes.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines for administrative tasks.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ownership; committed to completing tasks!
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 75% as needed.
• Ability to maintain and possess a valid passport and driver's license.
