Field Service Technician – 100% Travel, Rotational Position

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaboratively represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across various equipment platforms.

• Provide training to site personnel on Operations activities such as Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System.

• Lead teams in executing major component replacements and repairs on diverse equipment platforms and from various component manufacturers.

• Analyze complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.

• Comprehend the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of multiple equipment platforms.

• Conduct equipment and site inspections, compiling relevant reports.

• Fulfill daily and monthly reporting obligations.

• Draft and update procedures and documentation for component replacement processes.

• Ensure all activities are conducted safely in accordance with Invenergy policies and procedures.

• This is a rotational position requiring travel in 4-week intervals away from home, followed by a week off.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Two (2) years of technical experience and/or technical education related to renewable energy systems.

• Experience with multiple platforms is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in utilizing software systems for troubleshooting issues.

• Ability to work safely with minimal supervision.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

• Must be capable of working outdoors in adverse weather conditions and climbing ladders independently.

• Ability to lift and handle up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to work at heights exceeding 80 meters (250 feet).

• Weight must not exceed 129 kg (265 lbs.), excluding equipment/gear worn while performing job-related tasks.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
