Field Service Technician – 100% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Execute and provide training on significant component replacements and repair services as required throughout the Invenergy fleet.

• Ensure that all operations and maintenance tasks are conducted safely in accordance with established Invenergy policies and procedures.

• Represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group collaboratively to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across various equipment platforms.

• Educate site personnel on Operations activities, which include: Safety, Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Ops Support System.

• Lead teams in conducting major component replacements and repairs on various equipment platforms and component manufacturers.

• Resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic challenges.

• Comprehend the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic operations of multiple equipment platforms.

• Carry out inspections of equipment and sites and compile relevant reports.

• Fulfill daily and monthly reporting obligations.

• Draft and update procedures and documents detailing the process for each component replacement.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Two (2) years of technical experience and/or education related to renewable energy systems.

• Proficient in utilizing software systems to troubleshoot problems effectively.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products.

• Capable of working outdoors in adverse weather conditions and climbing ladders unassisted.

• Possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

• Ability to work at heights exceeding 80 meters (250 feet).

• Weight must not surpass 129 kg (265 lbs.) excluding any equipment or gear worn while performing job-related tasks.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
