
Field Service Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales for new service agreements within assigned territories.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to secure immediate service work and long-term maintenance contracts.
• Conduct regular cold calling to attract new customers and enhance service sales and market share.
• Perform site audits and technically evaluate customer equipment.
• Prepare proposals related to services.
• Keep customer call lists, opportunity pipelines, and forecasts organized using CRM software.
• Promptly address customer concerns, both external and internal, and provide necessary justification materials when required.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities, communicating them to executive management.
• Inform the manager and relevant parties of any significant active or potential concerns.
• Travel by vehicle or air, including occasional overnight trips, to support activities in the territory.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous sales experience is required.
• Experience in commercial energy or utility service sales, including parts and/or service, is preferred.
• Experience in power generation equipment service/sales or a similar industry is a plus but not necessary.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Equivalent experience may be accepted as a substitute for a degree.
• A strong sense of urgency and dedication to exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently within an assigned territory with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude is necessary.
• Knowledge of commercial engine products and their recommended maintenance schedules.
• Technical experience that supports service sales is advantageous.
• Ability to articulate ideas clearly and positively influence others.
• Experience working in an assigned territory.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel by vehicle or air, including occasional overnight trips.
• Capability to perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, talking, hearing, using computers and telephones, reaching, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and some light-to-moderate lifting.
• Ability to work in challenging weather conditions, high noise levels, and environments with potential electrical hazards, toxic or caustic chemicals, humidity, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.
• Base salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000, plus commission.
• Full-time employment.
