Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assist retail partners through on-site store visits, product demonstrations, and engagement on the sales floor.

• Provide compelling and informative product presentations to educate and inspire retail staff and consumers alike.

• Execute merchandising and promotional initiatives utilizing product displays and point-of-purchase materials.

• Carry out all in-field operations in accordance with seasonal go-to-market strategies and sales objectives.

• Generate enthusiasm and awareness for Altra by collaborating with retail and community partners.

• Represent Altra at local events, select national competitions, and expos.

• Facilitate consumer trials and education through community events and experiential opportunities.

• Cultivate meaningful, long-lasting relationships that promote advocacy and encourage repeat sales.

• Conduct thorough, precise, and timely activity reporting using designated tools (e.g., Repsly).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in specialty retail (preferably in running or outdoor specialty).

• More than 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or field service.

• Knowledge of the Altra product line.

• Experience in fitting and selling technical footwear.

• Strong skills in time management, planning, and organization.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capacity to work independently while effectively collaborating with a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft applications (including Outlook).

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Marketing, Sales, Business, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred.
