Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Activate the Altra brand within the Michigan territory by fostering genuine connections, executing thoughtful activations, and providing hands-on support.

• Cultivate relationships with retailers through face-to-face visits, demonstrations, and support on the sales floor.

• Provide product education to both retail staff and consumers.

• Generate excitement through local partnerships, running clubs, community events, and engagement initiatives.

• Implement merchandising and promotional activations effectively.

• Represent Altra at various local and select national races, events, and expos.

• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams to develop go-to-market strategies.

• Convey product feedback, insights on consumer behavior, and market trends.

• Maintain field reporting while managing field assets, travel, and expenses.

• Strengthen relationships and enhance brand presence throughout the territory.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty retail (preferably in run or outdoor sectors).

• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing role.

• Proficiency in fitting and selling technical footwear.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

• Capability to work independently while remaining connected to a larger team.

• A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a passion for the running and outdoor communities.

• Familiarity with Altra products is advantageous.
