Field Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Activate the Altra brand within the territory through genuine connections, strategic activations, and hands-on assistance.

• Establish relationships with retailers through face-to-face visits, demonstrations, and support on the sales floor.

• Provide product training to retail staff and customers.

• Generate enthusiasm through local collaborations, running clubs, events, and community involvement.

• Implement merchandising and promotional initiatives.

• Represent Altra at local and selected national races, events, and expos.

• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams on market entry strategies.

• Convey product feedback, consumer behavior insights, and market trend observations.

• Maintain field reporting and oversee field assets, travel arrangements, and expenditures.

• Strengthen relationships and enhance brand visibility within the territory.

• Facilitate retail advocacy, community awareness, product trials, customer loyalty, territory performance, and execution of service plans.

• Acquire knowledge of the Altra product line, best practices for retailer and community activations, and Field Service systems and tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty retail (preferably in running or outdoor sectors).

• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or a customer-facing role.

• Proficiency in fitting and selling technical footwear.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.

• Capability to work independently while maintaining connection with a larger team.

• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a passion for the running and outdoor communities.

• Knowledge of Altra products is advantageous.
