
Field Service Manager – Electrical Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage daily field operations, which includes scheduling, dispatching, and technician utilization.
• Track essential performance indicators such as utilization, backlog, work-in-progress, and productivity.
• Assist in managing departmental budgets, labor costs, and job performance metrics.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Foster and enforce a robust safety culture that aligns with WorkSafeBC regulations and company policies.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through dependable service delivery.
• Directly supervise field technicians, team leads, and supervisors.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to support workforce planning and resource allocation.
• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in electrical services, power systems, or industrial field operations.
• Proven experience in leading and coordinating field-based technical teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of field service operations, scheduling, and workforce management.
• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC regulations, BC Employment Standards legislation, CEC, CSA, and NETA standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication skills and effective team leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in operational metrics, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
