Field Service Engineer, Raman

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Install and set up Raman Microscopy systems throughout Europe

• Offer both onsite and remote technical assistance

• Identify and rectify hardware, software, and application-related issues

• Provide preventative maintenance and repair services

• Facilitate customer training and offer application support

• Collaborate with Applications, R&D, Product Management, and Sales teams

• Aid in the introduction of new products and upgrades

• Keep precise service records and maintain technical documentation

• Foster strong customer relationships and recognize service opportunities

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific field

• Experience in supporting intricate scientific instrumentation

• Familiarity with Raman Microscopy and its associated applications

• Strong skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving

• Excellent communication skills when interacting with customers

• Proficiency in both German and English

• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe
