This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair tasks for low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and associated power distribution equipment in a professional manner.
• Prepare technical reports and test sheets, and monitor spare parts, tools, equipment, consumables, and more.
• Uphold and adhere to safety regulations for the company as well as the specific sites of operation.
• Participate in all relevant site meetings.
• Collaborate with Project Management and site personnel.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients by actively listening to their needs and addressing them, or escalating issues within our organization for resolution.
• Maintain regular communication with Project Managers, both receiving and sharing information.
• Actively work to eliminate waste and enhance value across all processes.
• Follow all pertinent health and safety regulations and engage in safe work practices.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Possess an Associate's degree in electrical power distribution or a related field, and/or have over 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Military experience is an advantage.
• Experience in Data Centers or equivalent mission-critical systems is preferred.
• Proven experience with electrical power distribution systems, power monitoring systems, AC/DC electrical power, and the application of communication protocols.
• Preferred experience of three to five years in designing low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and/or power distribution equipment.
• Familiarity with UL Standards, including but not limited to UL67 Panelboards, UL1008 Transfer Switch Equipment, UL10008S Static Transfer Switches, UL60950 Information Technology Equipment, UL891 Switchboards, and UL1558 Metal-Enclosed Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breaker Switchgear, as well as other relevant standards.
