This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Assist in developing a world-class Customer Satisfaction Department while supporting our Service network.
• This role necessitates the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to address customer inquiries and service calls.
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and resolve intricate technical issues related to CT equipment in a medical setting.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service by performing preventive maintenance and managing repair/parts cycle times.
• Ensure that escalated situations are handled promptly and professionally.
• Provide second-line support to distributors across all facets of customer assistance.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Define preventive maintenance kits and all necessary service tools.
• Create a service database of information that aligns with our corrective action systems.
• Supply materials such as fault trees and training resources.
• Conduct tests and simulations at our facility to aid in problem resolution.
• Travel to client locations to train and/or address customer issues.
• Train service engineers.
• Participate in and complete all mandatory training and certification exams.
• Acquire proficiency in servicing and repairing all systems (current, new, and updates).
• Work independently and take ownership of the customer base.
• Be fully self-sufficient in fieldwork.
• Manage time effectively; prioritize tasks and make sound business judgments to maintain efficiency and meet daily service expectations.
• Remain compliant with REptrax and VendorMate.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding travel, expenses, meetings, and meals.
• Maintain a fundamental understanding of system operations and services to independently address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Keep the service calendar accessible to the Customer Service Manager and staff.
• Close reports to Customer Service Department on Great Plains, including PM Reports and Service Reports.
• Required to wear a dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation-emitting devices.
• Associate's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Technical training and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing medical equipment.
• Experience with CT and imaging systems is an advantage.
• Awareness or certification in ISO, FDA, CMDR, and Product Complaint System – Health Stream.
• Familiarity with mechanical devices, tools, testing equipment, telecommunications systems, and a working knowledge of computer networking.
• Must possess fluent English verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Willingness to travel overnight is required.
• A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are mandatory, along with background and drug testing (pre and post-employment).
• Experience in budget, expense, and resource management is essential.
• Ability to gather facts from various sources, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management.
• Competencies & Skills: Comfort with technology, capability to present using a laptop, and proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome.
• Familiarity with clinical and economic outcome data, reimbursement, and managed care policies and procedures is highly desirable.
