This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Assist our Service network in establishing a top-tier Customer Satisfaction Department.
• This role necessitates the flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, to address customer inquiries and service requests.
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and resolution of intricate technical issues related to CT equipment within a medical setting.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through outstanding service by performing preventive maintenance and overseeing repair/parts cycle times.
• Ensure that escalation issues are handled and resolved promptly and professionally.
• Provide second-line support to distributors in all facets of customer assistance.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the product.
• Define preventive maintenance kits and all necessary service tools.
• Develop a service database of information to synchronize with our corrective action systems.
• Supply resources such as fault trees and training materials.
• Conduct tests and simulations at our facility to aid in problem resolution.
• Travel to client locations for training or to address customer concerns.
• Provide training to service engineers.
• Participate in and complete all mandatory training and certification examinations.
• Become proficient in the service and repair of all systems (existing, new, and updates).
• Work autonomously and take responsibility for the assigned customer base.
• Operate independently in the field.
• Manage time efficiently; prioritize tasks and make sound business judgments and decisions concerning efficiency and effectiveness while fulfilling daily service expectations.
• Maintain compliance with REPtrax and VendorMate.
• Adhere to all company policies related to travel, expenses, meetings, and meals.
• Maintain a fundamental understanding of system operations and service to independently address customer inquiries and resolve issues.
• Keep the service calendar accessible to the Customer Service Manager and staff.
• Submit reports to CSD on Great Plains, including PM Reports and Service Reports.
• Required to wear a dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation-emitting devices.
• An Associate's Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Networking, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Technical training and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in servicing medical equipment.
• Experience with CT and Imaging technology is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA, and CMDR Awareness Training, as well as the Product Complaint System, or Certification – Health Stream.
• Familiarity with mechanical devices, tools, test equipment, telecommunications systems, and a working knowledge of computer networking.
• Must exhibit fluent English verbal and written communication skills and effectively perform in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel overnight is required.
• A valid driving license and a satisfactory driving record are mandatory, along with background and drug testing (pre and post-employment).
• Experience in budget, expense, and resource management is essential.
• Must be capable of gathering facts from various sources, analyzing data, and providing informed recommendations to management.
