
Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging, Radiopharmacy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance, servicing, and repair of large medical systems in line with technical documentation, modification directives, and relevant quality standards.
• Provide support for radiopharmacy systems such as cyclotrons and, based on qualifications and suitability, additional modalities like computed tomography and surgical systems.
• Diagnose and address technical issues independently at customer sites in a solution-focused manner.
• Offer remote diagnostic assistance as a Regional Online Engineer.
• Execute the independent installation and uninstallation of medical systems or optional assemblies in collaboration with project management.
• Plan, prioritize, and carry out service calls, emphasizing customer satisfaction, quality, and patient safety.
• Timely completion of administrative tasks, including daily service reports, weekly timesheets, maintenance logs, and other documentation.
• Engage in technical training and ongoing education, including international courses.
• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, medical technology, or mechatronics, or an equivalent education, degree, or relevant professional experience.
• Ideally certified as an electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft).
• Competence in radiation protection according to Section 6.4 of the German Radiation Protection Ordinance (Fachkunde 6.4).
• Strong enthusiasm and interest in hands-on technical challenges within medical imaging.
• Possess technical-analytical skills, a structured working style, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and responsibly.
• High awareness of quality and adept handling of safety- and patient-related service processes.
• Excellent communication skills, customer-oriented approach, and a professional demeanor.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Valid driver's license (car).
• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
• Competent in MS Office and PC applications.
