• Execute installations, inspections, verifications, and both corrective and preventive maintenance to guarantee the effective operation of CAS Affera systems.
• Maintain and submit technical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Share insights from field experiences with colleagues in the office and provide updates to the database.
• Contribute to service processes to promote ongoing improvement and evolution within the Field Service organization.
• Offer feedback to Engineering and Manufacturing for enhancements to Affera products.
• Engage in the development and delivery of technical training for our distributors, partners, agents, and technically skilled representatives of our customer base.
• Assist in the seamless introduction of new products to customers by taking part in discussions on design improvements.
• Investigate, analyze, and identify trends in technical data related to Affera products.
• Take part in special projects as assigned by the US Field Service Manager or their designee.
• Deliver technical training to physicians, EP technicians, and department managers at customer locations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in technical, clinical field service, technical internships, or clinical customer support.
• Capability to apply engineering principles, including electrical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and biomedical, to troubleshooting without complete technical documentation.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with medical equipment.
• Exceptional English writing and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including potential international assignments.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and the capability to function without direct supervision.
• Extensive direct, face-to-face customer engagement and interaction experience.
• Competence in collaborating closely with customers, understanding their concerns, and formulating a plan to enhance their confidence and satisfaction with Affera products and services.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a qualification that meets the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
