Field Service Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Install, conduct preventive maintenance on, and repair designated diagnostic instruments.

• Identify and resolve technical issues across various complex instruments.

• Accurately document resolutions and finalize service calls within specified timelines.

• Address customer concerns through resolution or escalation as necessary.

• Provide exceptional service and foster customer relationships through proactive communication.

• Organize and prioritize service visits while maintaining precise inventory records.

• Participate in on-call rotation, after-hours support, training travel, and critical account assistance.

• Adhere to regulatory, quality system, and laboratory safety protocols.

• Ensure accurate documentation is maintained for audits.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other Field Service Representatives.

• Achieve service sales, cost-of-service, and KPI objectives.

• Utilize remote support tools to enhance instrument uptime.

• Keep certifications current through continuous training and development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• 2–5 years of experience in Engineering or Laboratory Technology.

• Willingness to travel 20% within the designated territory.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with laboratory instrumentation.

• Capability to work independently while thriving in team settings.

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, VPN, and remote troubleshooting tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
