Field Service Engineer – Field Remote

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer support through on-site installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of intricate equipment and systems.

• Educate customers on the operation and maintenance of the system.

• Act as the company's representative with clients regarding administrative and technical issues for designated projects.

• Conduct troubleshooting, repairs, and qualification services for clients, including warranty services, within an established timeframe.

• Convey service offerings such as training, support, software solutions, laboratory service products, and field upgrades.

• Manage assigned assets, which include tools, testing equipment, telecommunication devices, and service parts inventory.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, including military experience, along with 2 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair; OR an Associate Degree in the same fields plus 4 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma with 10 years of direct experience in laboratory equipment repair.

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.

• Willingness to travel by air, vehicle, and/or other means as business needs arise.

• A valid driver’s license is required.
