This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and assist with on-site implementations of autonomous robotic systems, encompassing installation, calibration, commissioning, and startup procedures.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and software challenges in real-time.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and system health assessments.
• Aid in remote diagnostics and address escalations alongside Engineering and Technical Support teams.
• Educate customer operators and site personnel on system functionality, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Record field service activities, including repairs, troubleshooting steps, photographs, and site conditions.
• Travel frequently to customer locations, potentially up to 100% of the time.
• Operate independently in dynamic warehouse and industrial settings.
• Provide field insights to Engineering, Product, and Support teams to enhance reliability, deployment procedures, and customer satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in field service, robotics, automation, industrial equipment, or a comparable technical role.
• Proficient troubleshooting abilities across mechanical, electrical, and basic software systems.
• Capability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and technical documentation.
• Effective communication skills with customers and cross-functional internal teams.
• Willingness and capacity to travel frequently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift or work around industrial equipment as necessary.
• Capability to work at heights of up to 45 feet and in confined spaces of 24 inches.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or transport up to 50 pounds.
• Adherence to safety standards and protocols, including lockout/tagout and fall protection measures.
• Ability to spend approximately 75% of the time on construction sites while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to work in temperature ranges from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.
