This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the progress of customer installation milestones alongside Samsara Implementation Consultants, addressing any installation, partner, and project-related issues.
• Act as a point of escalation and troubleshooting during the installation phases.
• Track CSAT related to installations and identify and resolve the root causes of any dissatisfaction.
• Assist partners in developing project-specific installation manuals and provide on-site training for installer technicians.
• Coordinate with installation vendors to ensure timely, budget-friendly completion of work that meets Samsara's quality standards.
• Provide on-site oversight for large or complex deployments, which includes conducting site readiness checks, managing installer access and communications, real-time troubleshooting, and quality assurance checks.
• Serve as the hands-on technical expert for first-of-its-kind installations.
• Identify potential project risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and keep projects on schedule.
• Document lessons learned and enhance processes in collaboration with installation partners.
• Work closely with Customer Success, Implementation, and Product teams to escalate issues and enhance the overall installation experience.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and Samsara's best practices.
• Confirm that Statements of Work are in line with project installation requirements.
• Advocate for Samsara’s cultural principles as the company expands globally.
• A high school diploma is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and insurability are required.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing vehicle and/or hardware technology.
• Previous experience in vehicle installation or as an up-fitter is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems, including CAN bus and PTO applications.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience in coordinating field operations, implementation, and technical deployments.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel 50–70%, including weekends and overnight stays.
• Capability to create professional customer-facing documentation.
• A tendency toward standardization and automation, with a focus on the big picture and maintaining high standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset oriented towards continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with or hands-on experience using AI tools.
