This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Oversee the commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of both new and retrofitted industrial combustion systems throughout Mexico.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics and root cause analyses on intricate mechanical, electrical, and control-related system issues.
• Review, modify, and assist with PID loop programming in both single- and multi-loop control systems.
• Utilize, interpret, and analyze data from electronic diagnostic tools, including multimeters, pressure and flow transmitters, and combustion analyzers.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers, which includes plant operators, engineers, maintenance teams, and management.
• Provide expert technical advice to enhance system performance, reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Mentor and assist less-experienced service personnel, contractors, or local support resources as needed.
• Collaborate closely with U.S.-based sales, engineering, project management, and service teams to address technical challenges and support ongoing projects.
• Create comprehensive service reports, timesheets, and technical documentation following each field assignment.
• Ensure adherence to Bloom Engineering safety standards, customer site requirements, and relevant local and international safety regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, or a related technical field).
• At least five (5) years of field service experience supporting industrial combustion or heating systems.
• Strong comprehension of fundamental combustion principles, encompassing air-to-fuel ratios, flammability limits, NOₓ formation mechanisms, and available heat.
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience with Bloom Engineering equipment or similar systems.
• Proven experience in supporting industrial customers across Mexico.
• Familiarity with NFPA 86 and similar industrial combustion safety codes.
• OSHA 10-Hour and NFPA 70E safety training (or the ability to obtain these certifications).
• Valid driver's license required (international driver's license is preferred).
• TN Visa or ability to qualify for one.
• Willingness and capability to travel frequently (up to 80% of the time) throughout Mexico.
• Proficient in writing reports in English to summarize findings and completed work.
• Fluent in Spanish, with professional speaking proficiency in English.
