Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Join VL Test Systems Ltd (VLT) as a Field Service Engineer, providing service and support for our equipment at customer locations throughout the UK.

• Diagnose breakdowns, perform repairs, and proactively offer guidance to customers and the service team.

• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by reducing equipment downtime through efficient service, calibration, and repair activities.

• Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams, manage schedules and resources effectively, and ensure all work is thoroughly documented and communicated.

• Assist with installations, train customers, maintain safety standards, and continually enhance your technical skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in engineering service, calibration, maintenance, or commissioning roles, preferably within the Commercial Vehicle sector.

• Strong numerical aptitude.

• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• A motivated, dynamic, and professional demeanor with a polished appearance.

• Excellent time management skills and reliability.

• Ability to communicate confidently with both Directors and workshop personnel.

• A clean driving license (preferred).

• Flexibility in working hours and a proactive attitude.
