Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Install and commission CDI laser engraving and XPS UV exposure systems at client locations.

• Provide hands-on training to clients regarding system operation and maintenance.

• Conduct electrical, mechanical, and optical troubleshooting to address complex issues.

• Implement preventative maintenance and system enhancements to ensure maximum uptime.

• Act as the primary technical liaison and cultivate strong relationships with customers.

• Travel extensively within the region and throughout the U.S. to assist customer locations.

• Travel approximately 60% regionally by car, 40% domestically by air, with around 65% of travel being overnight.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience with industrial machinery.

• Proficient electrical troubleshooting abilities, including AC/DC, relays, motors, and signal flow.

• Strong mechanical skills, including precision adjustments and assembly tasks.

• Experience with PC hardware and Windows-based operating systems.

• Capability to work independently while providing outstanding customer service.

• Preferred experience in printing, packaging, or platemaking sectors.

• Basic knowledge of networking is preferred.
