This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.
• Provide service and technical assistance during visits to customer locations.
• Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and conduct preventive maintenance on balances and moisture analyzers.
• Identify equipment problems and deliver prompt solutions to reduce customer downtime.
• Ensure precise service documentation, reports, and records are maintained.
• Organize workload and service schedules to ensure timely customer support.
• Utilize field service automation tools and systems in daily tasks.
• Adhere to service protocols, quality standards, and safety measures.
• Work collaboratively with internal technical teams on complex issues and exchange best practices.
• Offer technical guidance, product recommendations, and service insights to customers.
• Cultivate enduring customer relationships that foster satisfaction, retention, and business expansion.
• An associate degree in a technical field, or a high school diploma/GED accompanied by relevant technical certification.
• At least 2 years of experience in field service, maintenance, instrumentation, or a related technical area.
• Preferably experienced in calibrating balances, scales, moisture analyzers, or comparable laboratory instruments.
• Capability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain technical equipment.
• Strong skills in mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
• Effective communication abilities and customer service skills.
• Competence in managing multiple priorities and working independently in a field-based setting.
• Proficient with mobile applications, digital reporting tools, and Microsoft Office software.
• A valid driver’s license and readiness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
