Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Execute field service tasks as directed by Customer Care in collaboration with the Service Leader.

• Conduct installation, maintenance, and repair of both current and future Life Science/Diagnostics instrument offerings.

• Provide initial onsite user training for Life Science and Diagnostics systems.

• Schedule and organize routine maintenance on a monthly basis.

• Ensure all documentation, circuit diagrams, Service Data Bulletins, and manuals are updated to the correct revisions necessary for servicing specific instrument types.

• Uphold ancillary documentation, such as the Safety Manual and Procedures Manual, to the highest standards, with regular reviews in line with the Quality Management System.

• Align personal work practices with departmental performance goals and actively demonstrate adherence to all team objectives.

• Maintain records of personal service spares and inventory at the highest standard.

• Promptly report and resolve any anomalies encountered.

• Ensure all tools and test equipment are suitable for the required services and that all issued test equipment is calibrated as needed.

• Complete all Work Orders and related documentation within one day of task completion.

• Ensure timely submission of all e-learning and expense claims.

• Undertake specific and agreed-upon tasks as outlined in the Goal Statements, which are integral to the company culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant educational background or equivalent experience (e.g., a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Biotechnology).

• Experience in a customer service role, preferably related to Diagnostic and Life Science instrument applications.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong commitment to customer service.

• Willingness to travel, with occasional overnight stays away from home as necessary.

• Valid full BE/NL driving license required.
