• Assist with the technical requirements of Philips Imaging clients and customer service representatives.
• Operate both independently and collaboratively within a broader team to install, maintain, and repair imaging equipment.
• Offer field-based and remote technical assistance to customers and team members.
• Execute corrective, preventative, installation, and field change order tasks on intricate healthcare systems.
• Identify failures in mechanical, hardware, and software systems.
• Assess the most cost-effective repairs or solutions to reduce customer downtime.
• Engage actively in an ongoing rotation with the Field Service Engineer team.
• Report directly to the District Service Delivery Manager for the North East.
• HNC (NVQ Level 3 or higher) or a Degree in Electro-engineering or an equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
• A proven logical problem solver with the capability to work independently.
• Experience in performing corrective and preventative maintenance on Imaging Systems devices and equipment is desirable.
• Ability to assimilate knowledge across multi-modality and varied product lines.
• Recognize emerging technologies and adapt to daily challenges.
• Provide exceptional levels of customer service.
• Proficient in IT/Network diagnostics, system connectivity, and remote service is desirable.
• A Standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) criminal record check is required for this position.
